Job Opportunity - Product Operations Specialist

Summary:

The Product Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Product Operations Director in the development and implementation of strategies related to Service Experts residential programs. They will participate in cross-functional work teams across Marketing, Sales, Field, Operations, Legal and Supply Chain and they will work externally with existing and new vendor partners. Additionally, this role will actively engage with business stakeholders and customer insights to gain a better understanding of the customer and provide recommendations to improve rendition and cross sell opportunities.

In the role, the Product Specialist is responsible for the support and development of our products and projects to support existing and new business. Additionally, this role will actively engage with critical business stakeholders to gain a better understanding of the customer and field needs to improve customer satisfaction and processes. This position is supported by a Product Operations Director and will be part of the Product Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Support in the development of a forward-looking product roadmap including product enhancements, additions and cross sell opportunities, business case development and increasing customer base
  • Preform ongoing business results monitoring and reporting (Weekly/Monthly)
  • Be a point of contact to the field and other departments
  • Develop insight driven short-term action plans, to ensure product growth and success
  • Launch, Promote, and Drive Company Wide Contests
  • Develop strong internal communications and provide feedback on external communications
  • Support product updates and launches
  • Partner with OEM partners on various activities
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer & conduct ongoing activities that promote the improvement of the Customer Experience i.e. policy and procedural changes, escalation management
Desired Qualifications:
  • Seeking or have earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Management or relevant field of study is desired
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Collaborative and resourceful
  • Ability to adapt and pivot when new found information warrants a change in focus or approach
  • Comfortable presenting to various levels of leadership
  • Experience using software programs to analyze data and visually present findings (ie excel, tableau)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in home services sector is an asset
  • Ability to track, measure and present results of implemented product changes
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills to multiple audience types
  • Comfortable sifting through large amounts of data to report on findings and uncover insights
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to achieve results
  • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to solve complex problems
