Product Manager, Payment Solutions (Dunkin' & BR) will specialize in management of an enterprise electronic payment infrastructure involving the integration of several in-store and external consumer-facing systems. This person will require detailed knowledge of business processes, as well as trending and emerging technology/solutions related to payments processing. Owner of the day-to-day responsibilities in managing estate of 25,000 payment terminal and the relationship with Verifone and serves as main resource in deploying and maintaining payment solution for in-store payments. Will take overall strategic guidance from central Payment Solutions team while providing payments guidance and support specific to Dunkin' and Baskin Robbins as individual contributor. This role will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to business initiatives and day-to-day operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide guidance to end-to-end payment solution development and integration; ability to implement technology solutions to meet business goals
  • Responsible for hands-on management of test devices, including installation of software, configurations, troubleshooting via log analysis
  • Provide appropriate level of governance and policy concepts related to payments for Dunkin' & BR topics
  • Manage project roadmap and resources, facilitating trade-off discussions, enhance support and follow corporate SDLC
  • Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution
  • Align business and technical target state with business goals
  • Provides effective project control by monitoring progress and providing appropriate updates to senior management
  • Plan, estimate and oversee the progress of application and product development and implementations
  • Monitors customer satisfaction levels and maintain efficient and cost-effective services
  • Stays current on emerging technologies and technology trends
  • Facilitate and inform line-of-business partners in the finalizing of business goals and objectives across payments channels and technology platforms
  • Facilitate and inform technical design with recent and relevant payments systems / implementation experiences

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four year degree - preferred
  • 5 - 7 years, or more, of proven increasing responsibility and professional success, including experience successfully implementing payment technology; experience within retail environment is a plus.
  • Working knowledge and existing relationships with restaurant industry leading technology vendors.
  • Must possess knowledge of digital wallets (Apple Pay, Android Pay, SamsungPay, etc.), and EMV
  • Working knowledge and existing relationships with restaurant industry leading technology vendors.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Previous experience working with Verifone, Verifone payment terminals and Verifone tools, such as VHQ, a plus
  • Experience working and negotiating with payment processors, such as Fiserv, FIS WorldPay, Elevon, etc. a plus
  • Understand and command of credit card tokenization processes required
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience in communicating complex technical terms to non-technical audiences
  • Must have broad understanding and technical knowledge of payment integration with POS and Web & Mobile solutions, Mobile and cloud-based technologies (eg, Azure)
  • Experience and familiarity with payment instruments such as credit/debit cards and their rules and regulations, as well as credit card tokenization processes
  • Must possess demonstrated ability and agility to adapt quickly to rapidly evolving and changing business priorities, along with delivering programs leveraging technology and innovation
  • Proven ownership, execution and delivery accountability experience leading highly visible enterprise and line-of-business programs
  • Track record of being client focused, with ability to interact with both internal and external clients seamlessly
  • Experience working in a matrixed corporate environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments simultaneously in a complex and high-paced environment
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong understanding of process management
