This individual will be working with the marketing teams and the data science/data modeling teams. Its imperative that this person has experience with an engagement platform (mailchimp, braze, constant contact are a few examples) OR a customer data platform (such as, segment or impartical.) This individual will be required to understand how marketing works from a "build perspective" and also understands modern customer data and how to leverage data. This individual will be responsible for defining the roadmap; i.e. what the priorities are, which order they should go in and what the long term vision is (for our client it is 12 months. It is too fast paced to go any further out. They ultimately reverse engineer, so they determine what the goal is in 12 months, and then figure out what steps need to happen in order to hit that 12 month target/goal.)
The Product Manager, Marketing Technology & Customer Foundations will play a meaningful role in helping to translate and support a customer-first vision into a tangible roadmap for execution. This technically minded, customer-focused product manager will work cross-functionally to ensure that initiatives (small to large) related to marketing campaign automation, enterprise monetization, and data science/analytics efforts that impact all phases of the customer journey are properly scoped, have actionable requirements, adhere to detailed project timelines and meet customer experience standards. Given the technical nature of the customer experience group, this product manager will bring a digital-first mindset, the ability to creatively problem solve, and a heightened level of empathy for customers and colleagues.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of the marketing technology & customer foundations roadmaps with dependencies
across multiple functions and business units.
-Play critical role in developing, launching, and scaling customer-facing programs and solutions.
-Identify dependencies across initiatives and gaps within requirements; fill those gaps through analysis and
proactive requirements building.
-Work collaboratively across a matrixed organization to coordinate initiative development and implementation.
-Analyze proposed solutions and customer data to make recommendations and approve solutions to ensure
initiatives meet current needs and provide flexibility for future business needs.
- Drive transparency around initiative timelines and ensure requirements are met in a timely manner, within
budget, and with high quality.
-Proactively manage all initiative risks ensuring they are quickly identified, communicated, and mitigated.
- Ensure initiatives are designed, scoped, and executed to meet pre-defined business and customer targets.

Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science, business, marketing or related field)
