FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Product Management Specialist will aid in facilitating, managing, and leading project tasks related to the New Product Development (NPD) Stage/Gate process. Engaging in cross departmental communications, the Product Management Specialist will ensure project tasks, goals, and timelines are met.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains NPD process templates.
  • Leads and facilitates cross departmental meetings to drive communication and engagement.
  • Assists in the development, analysis, and maintenance of project resources and schedules.
  • Conducts general market and competitive research.
  • Constructs basic business case.
  • Drafts and maintains product literature, training, and bid specs.
  • Works with Product Managers to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Supports Product Managers with NPD related tasks.
  • Establishes and maintains key performance metrics related to the NPD process.
  • Collaborates with Product Development to drive continuous improvement objectives.
  • Collaborates with Product Development to gain insight and develop alignment on product development goals.
  • Generates enthusiasm and interest in new products by preparing presentations and conducting new product Gate meetings and launches.
  • Reviews marketing collateral, including web site to ensure it is current, accurate, and reflective of the product specifications, performance etc.
  • Assists in developing, designing, and implementing marketing and training collateral as well as product related presentations for assigned products.
  • Assists in the development of new marketing tools and resources, including the development of videos, photographs, brochures, press releases, or other materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Product Management related or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 20% of the time.
