JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing equipment design and equipment support for Sales Teams and their customers' needs. Must be flexible and dynamic person with the ability to multitask across multiple projects and interoffice tasks. Demonstrate the company's core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Effectively interact with a national (limited international) sales force and customers to define complete project scope and provide quotes for required chemical supply equipment
  • Design Chemical injection systems to fit the needs and budget of our sales team
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
  • Develop and manage the equipment product line for pumps, controllers, systems, and piping components
  • Standardize equipment offerings based on sale force needs/requirements
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors/fabricators, specify equipment, create BOMs, and create basic schematics (flow and electrical)
  • Provide technical support to field representatives for various equipment systems and components
  • Troubleshoot existing systems for mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
  • Manage and maintain in-house inventory and spare parts
  • Effectively work collaboratively with team members as well as other functional support employees
  • Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude
  • Maintain constant focus on working and driving in a safe manner
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with engineering project management, including design, construction, installation, and startup of chemical systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management skills with an attention to detail
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Experience with Visio and CAD (drawings and schematics) preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

EDUCATIIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4-year Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Paper Science Engineering

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 10% including some overnight travel
