Position Summary

Product Development Technician - ITT Corporation - Motion Technologies - Novi, MI

ITT Corporation is pursuing an enthusiastic Product Development Technician, wherein they will be responsible for prototype preparation and physical / mechanical testing of ITT brake pads. As a leader in the industry, ITT considers the preparation and testing of its products a foundation for product development and customer support.

Acting in this role, the Product Development Technician will receive the support of a multifunctional Research & Development team to achieve the following job responsibilities:

Pay Range: 57,000 - 85,000 a year
Essential Responsibilities

Job Description/Accountability:

Operate Link compressibility equipment, prepare and measure test samples, ensure tests are run to the proper parameters.

Operate CMM to perform dimensional measurements for customers both internally and externally

Carry out physical tests such as flatness, parallelism, Rockwell Hardness, etc. as requested

Assist with filling internal and external prototype orders including shipping logistics

Manage physical and digital inventory systems

Develop and perform maintenance schedules on prototype and testing equipment.
Position Requirements

Required Skills:

• Good interpersonal skills.
• A self-starter, who is able to work in teams or who can operate independently.
• Passionate desire to work in "Hands-on" situation in a fast paced environment.
• Strong capabilities in the MS Excel and Outlook.
• Experience operating a CMM and reading drawings.
• Experience operating an End Mill.
