Description:

The GameStop Supply Chain Systems team is looking for experienced analysts to enable data-driven decisions and accelerate our growth. The Product Analytics Team is a new, critical team at GameStop.

You will assist in building our analytics framework. Your analysis will identify the most impactful features for our customers, directly influencing the product roadmap. You will monitor project outcomes and system metrics with a bias for customer advocacy.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous environment with little direction.

What You'll Do

  • Work side by side on a team with Product, Engineering, and Operations managers.

  • Communicate, sometimes ad hoc, with all levels of the company.

  • Develop the strategic analytic framework to guide the product roadmap.

  • Work independently with stakeholders to establish and assess Supply Chain and Operational metrics.

  • Draft persuasive documents of your findings.

  • Build out dashboards (Tableau, Data Studio, PowerBI) that are accurate, intuitive, and self-serviceable.

  • Automate time-based KPI/OKR reporting.

  • Share and distribute observations and insights to business partners, acting as a thought leader and active participant in strategic discussions.

What You'll Need

  • Passion for products and how they impact customers.

  • Solid business acumen.

  • Attention to detail - you have deep knowledge of your space.

  • Expert-level proficiency in either Python or R, and expertise in SQL.

  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one BI Tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker

  • Expert-level Excel capabilities (data manipulation, advanced formulas, modeling.)

  • Working knowledge of data infrastructure, pipelines, and advanced data manipulation.

  • Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis, synthesize results, present strategies, and make recommendations to business and technical audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience in e-commerce and/or supply chain is a plus.

  • Passion for gaming is a plus.

  • Relevant experience in analytics, 1+ years.
