Mobile Communications America is seeking a Procurement Manager for our Spartanburg Corporate location. This position is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership over procurement policies, strategies, and systems in order to meet the long-term business goals of the organization.

Strong communications skills needed to source and develop suppliers/vendors, sets procurement strategies, maintains enterprise focus with branches/sales/planning that support outstanding customer service and optimal branch operations for all locations across the company footprint. This person will oversee all activities related to procurement and sourcing. This includes negotiation to ensure competitive prices, rebates, payment terms, customer service and supply agreements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage and establish supplier relationships to ensure that we are building strategic partnerships
  • Negotiation to ensure competitive prices, rebates, payment terms, and supply agreements.
  • Manage all aspects of the supply chain, including supplier performance and on-boarding, pricing accountability, and cost reductions.
  • Communicate and manage corporate strategies for supplier management.
  • Acquisition due diligence support and post-acquisition vendor integration
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to business leaders to ensure tracking and course correction
  • Review performance management of suppliers and monitor implementation of corrective action plans as needed
  • Analyze data to determine opportunities to leverage pricing, improve customer service levels and reduce total cost

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
  • B.S. Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years supply chain or procurement experience, preferably in a fast paced environment with
    • demonstrated ability to anticipate next steps
    • take initiative and excersize discretion
    • apply sound judgement
    • former supervisory experience reqired
  • Credibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history
  • Excellent communications skills; including verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive supplier relations
  • Exceptional internal and external interpersonal communications skills
  • Customer savvy, exhibits good judgment, good common sense
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work well under deadline pressure
  • Highly proficient computer and software skills, inluding ERP, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
