Description

• Healthcare business and data analysis
• Create source-to-target mapping based on requirements
• Create rules definitions and transformation logic
• Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency, and problem solving
• Developing scalable reporting processes and querying data sources to conduct ad hoc analyses/detailed data profiling.
• Research complex functional data/analytical issues
• Gather business requirements for analytical applications in iterative/agile development model.
• Assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources
• Provides source system analysis
• Experienced with Agile methodology is MUST.

Proficient in Rally, Business analysis, Data Analysis, Mapping data from one format to another, Healthcare data experience(must), SQL(must), Snowflake(preferred)

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• 5 or more years of data analysis experience
• 5 or more years of systems analysis/requirement gathering experience
• Working experience with HealthCare data standards
• 3+ year of Health Care/Claims data experience

Projects the candidate will be working on:

• This is for the Care Data Platform, we bring all the data from various sources, for various markets and standardize/conform the data. Various consumers of this data are Health Care Economics, Clinical performance (for quality, risk) etc.

Ideal Background:

• We want tobe as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you're looking for - Looking for someone with extensive experience in data mapping for healthcare data(Claims, provider, eligibility, clinical data sets)and also who has done extensive experience trouble shooting data issues. Very good experience in SQL, any experience in Databricks, snowflake will be a plus.

Experience:

• A candidate who can show prior experience in all the 3 top skills working for a healthcare company such as  or any other major payer.
• Someone who has worked with large healthcare datasets in or any other large healthcare payer.

Top Requirements:

• Strong Healthcare data analysis experience - 5 years
• Strong SQL skills - 5 years
• Data mapping experience

Team and Team size:

• The contractor will work in a typical agile scrum team along with 1 Product owner, 1 Scrum master, 3-5 developers, 2-3 Quality Engineers.
• The contractor will be the Data analyst on the scrum team who do all the analysis, mapping that will be required for the team to implement.
