Location: Wilmington, NC
Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually
Description:

Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Plant Engineer for their manufacturing facility near Wilmington, NC. This position includes a sign on relocation bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

*Reports directly to Plant Manager

*Seeks to drive Plant performance to greater productivity levels

*Develops material labor cost standards and estimates

*Ultimate responsibility over 13 FTE (1 FTE supervisor) in a 2 line production facility

*Assists in the development evaluation of Capital projects and other cost improvement projects

*Ensures workflow of employees is proper and effective

*Ensures processes and procedures are proper and effective

*Provides maintenance and upgrades of production data systems

*Performs special projects/studies as assigned

Qualifications:

*5+ years of work experience within food, beverage, or any high speed/highly automated packaging/manufacturing environment

*Demonstrated application of various industrial engineering techniques

*Strong lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience

*Perform tasks with minimal supervision and capable of handling/prioritizing several tasks at once

*Extremely detail and deadline oriented

*Proven CapEx project management experience in a manufacturing environment

*Proven maintenance and CMMS experience

*Excellent communication skills with ability to interact positively with all team members
