JOB SUMMARY:

A Picker picks out cabinet door and drawer fronts, then places them onto a cart. The Picker then pulls the cart through a verification portal before delivering the cart to an assembly line.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Utilize computer systems to pick & deliver material
* Inspect material for quality and report material flaws appropriately
* Pull carts throughout isles efficiently picking material
* Delivery of completed cart to staging area at assembly line(s)
* Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping for yourself and your team
* Other duties as assigned



QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills/Abilities:


* Ability to identify wood species, finishes, cabinet types, color variances, etc.
* Ability to use & read a standard tape measure
* Ability to use basic math; and the ability to read, analyze, and interpret paperwork

Required Education & Experience:


* High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred



Required Physical Ability:


* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
* Frequent bending, crouching, pulling & pushing
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 30-lbs. & occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-lbs.



WORKING CONDITIONS:


* Working in an indoor environment with excessive hot, humid, and cold temperatures.
* Protective safety equipment is required including safety glasses, ear protection, and other.
* The noise level is usually moderate to high.
* Occasional overtime and weekend work, required.
