Responsibilities

The Pharmacist is responsible for the coordination of specialty pharmacy services in assigned area. Provides consultative/clinical services including antibiotic dosing of vancomycin and aminoglycosides, initial Coumadin dosing, renal dosing and IV-to-PO conversions. Responsible for providing distributive services. Responsible for adhering to and practicing within the guidelines of Georgia State Pharmacy Law.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

• B.S. from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Required Minimum Licensure

• Licensed by, and in good standing with, the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy

Required Minimum Experience

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Required Minimum Skills

• Demonstrated pharmacokinetic skills.
  
• Strong order entry and computer skills.
  
• Good oral communication skills.
  
• 2 years clinical involvement or BCPS preferred.
