A Global Medical Technology Company is seeking a Performance Test Engineer in Cary, NC.

Role Description

Performance Test Engineer to work contractually on a QA/Development scrum team. Their main role would be to conduct systems performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability. They will work alongside the testing team to develop performance test plans and cases and they will analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.

They'll own the performance testing, scripting, execution and reporting for the ZENITH application.

Skills & Requirements

• Experienced Performance Test Engineer (years not as important as have they actually performed this role?)
• Experienced in developing performance test scripts and execution using tools; like; Gatling (Scala), HP Load Runner, LoadUI, Load UI Pro, NeoLoad, etc)
• Experienced in running product performance testing end-to-end from requirements, planning, scripting, load test executions, and results analysis.
• Experienced with server monitoring tools like site scope, new relic, SignalFX, HP BSM, Dynatrace, SPLUNK, etc
• Experienced using integrated development tools such as Source Control Systems (ie git); Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc
• Experienced in developing Performance test scripts for Cloud based products.
• Experienced in setting up/designing load test scenarios for various tests; like load test, endurance test, stress test, failover test, etc
• Experienced carrying end-to-end performance testing including requirement gathering, test planning, scripting, execution, analysis and result reporting/sharing.
• Experienced with collaborating and coordinating with other dependent teams across the product line to ensure success of overall test run
• This person would have come from a technical background; this ZENITH product is .NET based; using C#.
