Job Summary

  • Processes materials that have been requested from other institutions by Indiana University Bloomington faculty, students, and staff.
  • Responsible for computer processing of incoming materials, labeling and shelving of materials for checkout.
  • Sends items to users who work or live on campus, and the mails items back to the owning institution.

Required
  • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
Preferred
  • Work-study eligible
SKILLS

Required
  • Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information
  • Strong attention to detail

Working Conditions / Demands

The person in this role must be able to move book trucks (weighing sometimes up to 40 pounds or more), and to frequently position self to sort books from book trucks to shelves, and consistently operate a computer.

Advertised Salary

Payrate is $11.00 per hour

Work Hours

Approximately 10 hours per week

Shifts are scheduled between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
