Job Summary

  • EVENTS: compiles lists of special guests for various honorees and assists with event planning and execution
  • COMMUNICATIONS: interacts with faculty and executive leadership; processes monthly welcome letters to new Alliance members
  • ORGANIZATION: archives honors and awards data, creates folders, and removes unnecessary materials and documents
  • Interacts with VPs and administrators, greets guests, and fields inquiries
  • Gains valuable experience in fast-paced, executive administration office

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION

    Required
    • High school diploma or GED
    Preferred
    • Experience as a college student
    • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
    SKILLS

    Required
    • Strong writing, editing, research, and communication skills
    • Ability to quickly shift focus and write for different audiences
    • Excellent time management, execution, and prioritization skills
    • Keen attention to detail with an eager, can-do attitude
    • Maintain highest level of discretion and confidentiality
    • Proficiency in Word and Excel (including mail merges)

    Advertised Salary

    $15-$17 per hour

    Work Hours

    10-15 hours per week (maximum 25)
