The Division of Student Affairs is focused on building a strong foundation to ensure every student's IU experience is positive, safe, healthy, and meaningful. The Division of Student Affairs staff and 19 departments aim to help students navigate their time at IU, providing the tools they need to be successful in school and after graduation. Students are our priority and their health, safety, and overall well-being are our core mission. Substance Use Intervention Services offers a safe, judgment-free space for drug and alcohol use and recovery support through the Collegiate Recovery Community.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for delivering brief screening interventions (alcohol and drug related) with a college student population, and general substance use counseling. This role may provide services and programming development for students in recovery. Both group and individual hours are required with mandated and self-referred students. Position begins in mid-August.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
Excellent communications skills including the ability to interact with a wide range of diverse individuals.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires sedentary work as well as periods of moving about the workplace or campus. Must be able to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be available some evenings. No more than 29 hours per week.
