Role Description:

Creating a continuous improvement culture in the plant by implementing the Ardagh LSS strategy including identifying improvement opportunities, coach and train employees/management on LSS tools and behavior to support achieving the plant KPI's. This role will responsibility for continuous improvement activities in the plant, LSS project mentoring and to drive LSS project closure in timeline. This role is a member of the plant management team (department manager level) for influencing plant approached positively in data driven decision taking and structured analysis. To take a leading role for the PPW's supporting the plant manager, driving benchmarking approaches and plant strategy for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) strategy in the plant in line with the Ardagh Group LSS strategy
  • Act as internal auditor for LSS audits as part of cross sites approach
  • Deliver LSS Tool training (including Modular Training) and deliver Belt project mentoring towards Certification in the plant in specific timeline
  • Steer plant goal deployment process and identify opportunities for improvements based on plant targets (KPI's)
  • To be the plant specialist regarding all relevant data sources and drive statistical analysis approaches, coach management team using statistics correct and effectively
  • Coach the plant management team towards a LSS culture. Coach and lead multi-disciplinary project teams on plant level, drive LSS project closure in specific timeline and make sure improvements tracked accordingly.

Job Requirements
  • Engineering / Technical degree or Business degree with technical interest/understanding
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with proven working knowledge of the Lean Tools
  • Self-motivated and passionate about continuous improvement
  • Hands-on experience in applying LSS tools
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to motivate and develop others
  • Computer literate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JMP Analytical Software, Minitab. Group applications as SAP and Business Warehouse
