Seeking a very motivated and results-driven Operations Manager to join our team located in Woburn, MA.

Job Overview:

The Operations Manager primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the daily operations of the company. This pivotal role involves ensuring efficient labor management, leading requisitions, enhancing employee productivity, maintaining top-tier product and service quality control, and prioritizing safety measures set for the Operations Department. You will serve as the company's representative in regulatory matters and play a key role in refining operational procedures, systems, and principles to streamline information flow and bolster management reporting.

LOCATION: Woburn, MA (onsite)

SALARY: $110K - $130K+ DOE

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Leadership and Communication:

• Oversee all department managers, supervisors, and operational staff.

• Maintain a safe and accident-free workplace.

• Act as the primary contact for customer issues related to quality, service, or job site incidents.

• Collaborate with the executive management team and project managers to implement policies, procedures, and systems.

• Liaise with legal counsel and safety officials to uphold compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

Strategic Operations:

• Contribute operational insights to company growth strategies.

• Create and execute action plans to enhance production, productivity, quality, and customer service.

• Conduct regular audits and identify industry trends.

Process Improvement:

• Design operations systems, including product handling, storage, and policies.

• Utilize software for product management (STRUMIS), equipment utilization, inventory control, and shipping oversight.

• Implement workflow changes as required.

Financial Management:

• Forecast sales and labor needs.

• Prepare and manage annual operational budgets.

• Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions to meet financial targets.

Human Resources:

• Recruit, select, train, schedule, and mentor employees.

• Clearly communicate job expectations and regularly review performance.

• Develop and administer compensation plans and rewards programs.

Safety and Compliance:

• Establish and enforce company standards for a safe work environment.

• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations.

• Manage relationships with key vendors and oversee vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree required, preference for Operations Management or Business studies.

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Operations Management or Business ownership within industries such as Welding, Construction, or related fields.

• Strong judgment and extensive experience to strategically plan and achieve goals.

• Ability to lead and direct teams effectively.

• Direct reporting line to executive management.
