1. IDENTIFICATION
Position: Ramp Agent Department: Operations

WC: Non-Freight- Ramp Agent (AGTCRPCI) LSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
2. SUMMARY
Total Airport Services is seeking a Ramp Agents. The Ramp Agent is responsible for delivering outstanding and safe operational performance and customer service. They are responsible for ramp operation in preparation for aircraft arrivals and departures in compliance with all TAS safety regulations, operational standards, and policy compliance. The Ramp Agent will promote a positive team environment.

3. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safety
o Be a champion for safety through accountability, awareness, and communication.
• Operational Performance
o Marshal and park aircraft at the gate.
o Performs Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks prior to aircraft arrival and departure.
o Prepare and/or Operate ground support equipment (GSE) (tugs, conveyors belts, tow tractors, loaders, water/lavatory service vehicle) for safe operation in preparation for aircraft arrival/departure.
o Prepares ramp for next arriving aircraft.
o Communicate with Ground personnel, Operations, and Flight Crew, providing aircraft arrival and departure information and feedback.
o May provide potable water, lavatory, and cleaning services to aircraft upon request.
o Adhere to all carrier/customer and Customs Border Protection (CBP) requirements.
o Possibly load and unload unit load devices (ULD’s) containing mail and freight from aircraft.
o Possibly load and unload passenger baggage to/from aircraft
• Customer Service
o Resolve customer issues in a timely manner with tact and diplomacy.
o Develop, build, and maintain strong, trusted, long-lasting customer relationship by listening and providing proactive solutions to our customers.
• Regulatory Compliance
o Ensure compliance with all airline and government agency regulations and protocols. Monitor compliance to all FAA, TSA, and DOT regulations establish sound working relationships with FAA, TSA, Customs, Immigrations, airport authorities, and business partners.
• Drive Employee Engagement and work with a Team. Be a supportive and great team player.
o Ensure that a high standard is set with regard to the appearance of our employees, facilities, and equipment.
o Perform other duties or functions as requested.
o Other work assignment/projects as required.
o Work schedules will span a 24/7 operation, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Flexible work shifts will be assigned and can include late nights and early mornings.

NOTE: TAS Applicants must in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards pass a security clearance (for airport security purposes) a federal background check, be fingerprinted, and complete the required educational course(s) prior to being issued an airport badge, and Customs Border Protection seal.
