Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Neurology is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank who specializes in Electromyography (EMG) and Neuromuscular Medicine. We especially welcome applicants who are clinician educators, and those with clinical trial or research experience in neuromuscular diseases and /or history of independent research funding.

Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. For qualified physician scientists in neuromuscular diseases, a start-up package and resources will be provided.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BE/BC in Adult Neurology as well as Neuromuscular Medicine and/or Electromyography.
