Location: Ashburn, VA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Network Technician IV

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• responsible for data center decommissioning/backup, new product implementation, auditing, and maintenance
  
• tier-1 break fix type work for their data center hardware
  
  
• Provides daily operations support and maintenance for network systems (including wireless and VoIP).
  
• Proactively monitors networks to provide stable, dependable network services across multiple platforms.
  
• Configures and troubleshoots computer networks.
  
• Maintains LAN/WAN/wireless/VoIP operations by working with network facility and hardware/software vendors to ensure timely problem resolution.
  
• Maintains and utilizes network management applications to identify network faults, to ensure the provision of data or other tele-communications access to customers, and the movement of information from one location to the other.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• HP, Dell, or Cisco servers
  
• Cisco or Arista switches
  
• hands-on experience with datacenter equipment
  
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has at least 8+ years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments.
