Innova Solutions is currently seeking a NETWORK OPTIMIZATION ENGINEER with an Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly Clearance to serve a trusted provider of secure, IP enabled, cloud-based, network solutions and professional services to the Federal Government. This company's National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

Position type: Full-time W2 (No C2C - No VISA sponsorship candidates)
Duration: 12 months with likely extension
Location: Onsite in Chantilly, VA
Pay Range: $50-57/hour including PTO
NOTE: No vendor calls, please; No C2C

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifies network operations issues and solutions.
• Develops and implements methodologies for analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting on various networks.
• Analyzes problems; creates automation to improve existing systems, data collection, and data analysis.
• Applies network process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and network process modernization projects.
• Analyzes the current performance of systems and networks.
• Reviews user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to eliminate impact on network performance, and improve survivability, and provide feedback to the network engineers.
• Uses complex network analysis tools to identify and predict problems in the network and aid in the post-mortem analysis of network anomalies.
• Generates reports and data required by the program team to manage complex networks.
• Coordinates with operations, engineering, and network management teams
• Analyzes network characteristics (e.g., traffic, connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput); recommends modifications to network components.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• TS SCI CI Poly
• Candidate must have 7 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to:
o Master's degree and 1 year
o OR bachelor's degree and 3 years
o OR associate degree and 14 years,
o OR HS diploma and 5 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.
• Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: $50-57/hour including PTO, W2 Only.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
