Job Summary
As the Network Engineer you will perform hands-on network and systems support across various client sites.
Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer to perform network and systems support. This position will be a full-time 12+ month contract and onsite in Trenton, NJ - 25% travel across the State.

What You'll Do

  • Perform work designing network topology and access layers to build secure routable IP networks to support phone, PCs, and peripherals, as well as designing the installation, removal, repair, modification and the alignment of the network systems and related equipment at client locations
  • Ensure the integrity, quality and continuous operation of the network by performing quarterly audits, including providing a written report detailing audit findings, recommended corrective actions and supporting documentation
  • Reviews design documents and building plans for network systems infrastructure
  • Prepare project documentation and oversees components of multi-phase, complex OLS wide projects
  • Analyze network systems and services
  • Measure user satisfaction through studies and assessment activities, and recommends improvements or adjustments.

What You'll Need

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer programming, systems administration, database/network management, or related degree from an accredited college or university
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • 5-7 years of experience designing network topology and access layers to build secure routable IP networks to support phone, PCs, and peripherals
  • 5-7 years of experience in monitoring general system performance, server virtualization, cloud management, application performance monitoring (APM), network management, server resources utilization for applications and capacity planning
  • Microsoft 365 Exchange Administrator
  • Microsoft Active Directory Administrator
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services Administrator
  • Prior experience with Backup Software and DR
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required, as the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform the essential duties of this position

Preferred:
  • Prior experience product management of tools (Backup of database)
  • Microsoft 365 Azure administrator
  • Symantec Enterprise Vault Administrator
  • Dell Avamar Backup Administrator
  • Support of Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Microsoft InTune Administrator
  • Exp supporting IIS Services

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs. using a pushcart
