Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Natural Gas Liquids Distribution Manager located in Houston, TX!

About You

You will lead the Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) feedstock distribution activities for Dow in the United States. Feedstock distribution is a dynamic activity due to the feedstock flexibility of Dow's USGC cracker fleet. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of NGLs and methanol between production facilities, marine vessels, storage facilities, and Dow petrochemical facilities. You will also be responsible for scheduling product shipments at a tactical level, supporting business needs while optimizing transportation and storage costs. Closing activities (reconciliation) are required on a monthly basis. You will also be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Manage physical logistics of feedstocks across the Gulf Coast

  • Act as the Supply Chain focal point for methanol purchases

  • Act as interface between financial institutions and exchanges for commodity risk management activities

  • Communicate and coordinate with other Dow business colleagues, including other countries, to ensure alignment and consistency

  • Collaborate with other function(s) stakeholders to deliver improving CX result

  • Use SAP and Allegro systems at an expert level

  • Coordinate deal confirmations for a variety of feedstocks

  • Strong commercial skills and volume/price negotiation, attitude in customer orientation

  • Good interpersonal effectiveness

  • Leadership skills to work cross-functionally and ability to successfully drive initiatives/issues through influence

  • Self-starter / bias for action

  • Project management skills, business acumen, and strategic / analytical thinking capability

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience

  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous commercial interface/experience
