Job Description
Led by WNET, the #PBSForTheArts campaign encompasses a variety of programs filmed within the constrictions of COVID built to showcase what happened when COVID hit, how the live arts industry responded, adapted and evolved.

Reporting the PBS for the Arts project lead, the Multimedia Associate Producer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing digital assets and station outreach for the PBS for the Arts campaign and Wavelength, WNET's proprietary content-sharing tool. A key member of a 3-person team, the Multimedia Associate Producer will coordinate with stations around the country to ensure that all regions and types of communities are engaged and encouraged to participate by providing content for evaluation. Additional responsibilities include:

* Manage Wavelength, including onboarding PBS stations, performing help-desk-type functions, managing media, coordinating legal issues, tracking submitted content, creating and communicating content offerings from PBS for the Arts to individual stations, reporting back to contributing stations as requested, etc.;
* Assist with working with multiple PBS stations, arts producers and arts institutions across the country to curate video footage and other content that will be edited by the #PBSForTheArts team;
* Source additional video footage and other content from existing PBS arts programs;
* Ensure all legal agreements and clearances are in place for video footage;
* Research arts activities around the country;
* Assist Project Lead and Multimedia Producer as needed;
* Additional duties could include writing arts features, and editing short-form video and static imagery.

Qualifications include:
* A minimum of 3 years of work experience in digital media or television/broadcast environment;
* Firm understanding of following formats: film, videotape, audio and audiovisual digital files;
* Experience with Media Asset Management systems;
* Demonstrated experience in the usage and implementation of databases, cataloging and metadata schemas;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
* Demonstrated planning, organization, problem analysis and decision-making skills;
* Proficiency with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube;
* Strong knowledge of the arts;
* Ability to edit video, and design static and motion graphics preferred;
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AfterEffects preferred.

Candidates with experience in public media are preferred.
