Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the pivotal role of the level four Mission Partner Integration SME in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Joining our team of accomplished and diverse professionals, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing expert technical system integration support across the Air, Space, and Cyberspace Domains.

We are looking for a candidate with a proven record of accomplishment in fostering partnerships and relationships at various leadership levels within organizations and be able to demonstrate a history of effective communication and coordination with senior military and civil service leadership at the O-5/O-6 and NH-4 levels and beyond. The successful applicant will bring valuable experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPB&E) processes.

In addition, the chosen candidate will play a key role in shaping the future by establishing, coordinating, and communicating critical STARCOM requirements and processes with stakeholder organizations. Likewise, they will adeptly convey essential information from stakeholder organizations back to STARCOM/S5/8/9, ensuring seamless and efficient communication channels. Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

• 15 + years of relevant DoD work experience
• Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to the STARCOM Directorate of Plans, Programs, and Requirements, S5/8/9
• Assist in managing the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process
• Provide staff support and perform analysis of program funding for all PPBE phases and other budget exercises
• Research and analyze program funding and execution trends data from sources such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Identify issues, recommend solutions, provide aid and advice associated with acquisition management of classified portfolios
• Possess strong background in DoD and Air Force accounting as well as experience with classified accounting systems and processes
• Assist in performing complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program or programs of the entire STARCOM portfolio
• Help coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation and application of regulations, policies, and guidance
• Support coordination on interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with customers and other stakeholders as required
• Assist in the formulation of STARCOM organizational strategies, tactics, and budget/action plans.

Education / Certifications

• Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science, or Master of Engineering (ME) degree in a related field
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
