Medical Billing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced medical biller for a position at our family owned Orthotic and Prosthetic clinic. This person should be organized, accurate and detail-focused with excellent problem-solving skills, an effective communicator and excited to work with a dynamic administrative team.

Job Duties to include:

• Insurance EFT posting experience (required)
• Patient posting experience (required)
• Payment posting/refunds (required)
• Extensive knowledge of insurance EOB's (required)
• Processing and follow-up on claims to include all types of insurance
• Claims appeals
• Audit/Review of claims before submission
• ERL rejections
• Inbound and outbound call to insurance companies
• Insurance verification
• Patient billing inquiries both on the phone and in-office
• Special projects as assigned by administrator

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in Medical billing, required
• EFT and patient posting experience, as well as extensive knowledge of insurance EOB's- required
• ICD 10 knowledge, required; certification preferred
• DMEPOS billing experience, preferred
• Microsoft office skills, required
• Brightree software knowledge, a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
