Job Summary
WFOX-FOX 30/WJAX-CBS47/EFOX MYTVJAX are accepting applications for a Full-Time Quality Control/Master Control Operator.
Ideal application should have the following skills:
- Knowledge of Video Tape Operations
- Proficient in computers and accurate data entry
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of video servers and automation systems within a Television environment
- Ability to plan ahead, troubleshoot and adapt to change with ease
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work flexible shifts to cover vacation/sick time
- Ability to work overtime if necessary
- Excellent organizational skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Quality Control of all content being processed through Master Control systems
- Managing On-Air and Commercial Breaks
- Maintaining On-Air Logs
- Recording multiple feeds from various sources
- Monitoring transmitters
- Complying with FCC and EAS Regulations
- Complete multiple tasks accurately and within established deadlines
What we look for
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will be selected from applications having the best combination of the following qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of broadcasting radio or TV experience preferred
- Experience in television master control operations a plus
- References must be provided in writing
