General Description of Position:

As a Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to implement, track and report market-specific campaigns and programs making sure that the execution is aligned with the corporate strategy and vision. You will also identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement local/targeted opportunities to generate leads and improve brand awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Director to create and implement the marketing plan.
  • Supports new market launches, product launches, community sponsorship events, and customer lifecycle/loyalty programs at the local level.
  • Provide best-in-class support to markets within the assigned region to grow brand awareness and generate leads by executing local/regional marketing plans.
  • Track and report the success of lead generation programs.
  • Support targeted neighborhood and community-based marketing plans to drive sales
  • Research grass roots opportunities and identifies potential events, promotions and/or organizations to partner with resulting in an increase in sales and stronger community connection
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of our products, promotions, and competitor activities within the assigned territory.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain local media contacts, key community influencers, and trusted vendors.
  • Facilitates relationship building in neighborhoods, communities, and organizations through prioritized efforts, focusing on partnerships, events and community outreach initiatives that have the greatest potential for generating traffic leads.
  • Ensures compliance with all brand standards and marketing guidelines.
  • Supports local grass-roots marketing programs, plans and coordinates events.
  • Seeks to create award-winning work that champions the corporate brand and enthusiastically tells the Clearwave Fiber story
  • Explores emerging tactics and recommends new approaches to reach and convert target audiences
  • Provides training support for all sales channels including creating presentations, talking points and positioning statements.
  • Performs all other duties as required.

 



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business Administration is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing or communications roles (marketing communications, brand marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing or public relations)
  • Proficiency (intermediate level or better) in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required and working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Intermediate HTML skills, preferably with experience in WordPress
  • Experience creating email campaigns using Hubspot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact or similar platforms
  • Experience in event planning, set-up and execution with focus on lead generation and community engagement  
  • Experience extracting data from multiple sources, consolidating it, and creating reports in Excel using advanced pivot tables.
  • Photography, video and audio production, recording and editing a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be well organized and understand process documentation and flow charts
  • Must be able to independently manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Problem-solving and project management skills
  • Knowledge/experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
