Typical Day in the Life
A typical day in the life of a Sales and Marketing Project Manager might include the following:
- Working closely with the Chief Growth Officer and Chief Marketing Officer to plan and execute strategic projects for the Marketing & Sales team.
- Meeting with the Chief Growth Officer on weekly basis to provide status updates.
- Developing short- and long-term plans to lead projects, including setting milestones, organizing project teams, developing communication plans and leading change management.
- Scheduling and attending meetings with project team members.
- Coordinating with internal technology team to install growth-related technologies, and developing reports and dashboards
- Leading various projects for other Marketing & Sales Team leadership team members, as needed.
- Training leaders on new programs and helping them deploy the programs in their respective regional, industry and/or services teams.
- Tracking projects in project management software.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
- You have a Project Management Professional certification, preferred.
- You have Professional Services industry experience, preferred.
- You have 5+ years of project leadership experience.
- You have a strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have strong verbal and written communications skills, and effective presentation skills.
- You have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers across multiple departments.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SmartSheet Salesforce, PowerBI and various software packages.
- You have the ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
