Your Role:

As a Manufacturing Training Specialist in Allentown, PA, you will be responsible for supporting the training of all employees in all warehouse functions, including daily operational activities, safety procedures, and quality objectives.

  • Train all employees on all relevant site functions, SOP's, and daily activities including operational, power equipment, safety, etc.
  • Keep training records accurate and up to date
  • Verify that tasks are being performed in accordance with procedure
  • Ensure proper equipment is used
  • Develop, enhance, and review training procedures and department SOP's
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation among fellow employees
  • Perform quality review and enhancement and acts as a major role in site ISO compliance
  • Review and enhance safety and acts as a program leader
  • Use data and metrics to actively enhance productivity
  • Actively involved in process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years' operations, manufacturing, warehouse, or equivalent work experience

Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task on a regular basis
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to learn and adopt to new and in-house software tools with minimal formal instruction
  • Energetic and engaged team member and implementer of change
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Outlook, MSOffice 365 (Excel, Word,PowerPoint)
  • Experience in designing and performing presentations
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently, to prioritize, and think critically
