Position Summary

The position will assist with the manufacturing and commercialization of implantable medical devices intended for clinical vascular use. Assembly Technicians can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assemble devices in accordance with procedures in a clean room environment.
• Assemble parts using tools such as tweezers, microscopes, and small fixtures.
• Clean the operating equipment, cleanroom and maintain clean work areas in accordance with cGMP requirements.
• Ensure product meets specified requirements.
• Actively participate with line clearance and set up activities.
• Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges.
• Lot release testing of clinical devices and quality control acceptance testing of incoming components.
• Assist with fabrication of early prototype and design improvements.
• Participate in device assembly in accordance with procedures in a clean room environment.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Education / Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Able to work in a high-performing team environment, and possess a demonstrated ability to multi-task and accommodate changing priorities within compressed timelines.
• Superior verbal and hand-eye coordination skills required.
