RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Engineer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (WI).Summary:We are looking for a candidate to work directly with Production, Leadership, and Engineering in all aspects of continuous improvement and manufacturing process development. This role will work first shift, Monday - Friday. You will report to the Plant Manager.Responsibilities include:
  • Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Engineer will assist Production Leadership in developing corrective actions and implementing process improvements to eliminate non-conformance
  • Conduct investigative work to solve technical issues
  • Analyze and diagnose complex machine malfunctions to expedite and coordinate corrective actions to prevent excessive downtime and interrupted schedules
  • As a Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will work from complicated drawings, plans, sketches, and layouts
  • Document precise measurements required remanufacturing components


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-5+ years of experience in manufacturing related required
  • Ability read and interpret part drawings (POS & customer blueprints)
  • High degree of Continuous Improvement knowledge and is required to stay abreast of the latest external developments in Continuous Improvement best practices
  • Knowledge of PC programs and CAD desired


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
