JOB DESCRIPTION

Structure, register, and manage Newmark's international infrastructure, including human resources/payroll, treasury, legal/tax structuring, accounting/reporting, and operations; coordinate development, implementation, and monitoring of accounting controls in accordance with SOX; create and monitor Accounts Receivable and Collections teams for Global Corporate Services and Valuation and Advisory practices and global Accounts Payable team; coordinate internal and external audit engagements reporting under IFRS, UK, US GAAP and various relevant local GAAPs; spearhead global operational and technology projects to change and transform the company and client companies while optimizing resources and streamlining operations; negotiate service agreements with vendors to achieve prime pricing. Prepare and review client RFP pricing and proposals. Lead review meetings and work with Service Line Leaders to review monthly, quarterly, and annual performance. Telecommuting permitted.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Requires a CPA license in the U.S. or Canada. Requires four (4) years of experience as Accountant, Financial Controller, or similar working in corporate accounting. Must have four (4) years of experience in the following: Accounting process management/supervision; International accounting (i.e., US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS, Canadian GAAP); Audit engagement and regulatory filing; Project accounting; Excel modeling; Oracle Project Accounting.

Salary: $140000 - $195000 annually

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $140000 - $195000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.)
