Leaf Group Market Operations Team is looking for a Manager of Order Management & Vendor Operations to help us develop a team of D2C and B2B Order & Vendor Management Specialists that will work across several marketplace brands here at Leaf Group.

You'll Report To: Sr. Director, Marketplace Operations

A typical day as a Manager of Order Management & Vendor Operations might include:

  • 30% - Manage vendor and supplier partner performance by setting clear expectations, communicating production and quality performance updates through regular business reviews that set actionable improvement initiatives, and building a strong rapport and trust with vendor partners.
  • 20% - Serve as the SME and primary contact for the vendor network and own the entire operational order lifecycle.
  • 15% - Lead an order management team to report on and monitor open orders across multiple brands, vendors and systems to ensure processing times meet D2C & B2B SLAs and to identify and resolve anomalies.
  • 10% - Drive the prioritization and optimization of OMS and order workflows through partnership with Product and Engineering teams for technical enhancements and fixes.
  • 10% - Function as the administrative gatekeeper of vendor and order routing.
  • 5% - Initiate and coordinate inventory and order delay/impact communications with cross-functional teams to ensure a quality customer experience.
  • 5% - You will be responsible for developing and maintaining process documentation related to vendor and order management.
  • 5% - Provide support to cross-functional teams, especially customer support, with various inquiries related to order processing and quality.
You'll be successful if you have a strong understanding of D2C ecommerce operations and a proven ability to facilitate cross-channel communication with internal and external parties.

What You Have:
  • 5+ years ecommerce operations experience.
  • Familiar with OMS and Business Intelligence systems.
  • Ability to communicate expectations and requirements equally well with business and technology teams, and capacity to write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong Analytical skills to measure, manage, analyze and report on KPI's.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to independently resolve problems that require in depth investigation and/or research
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.
