Reporting to the IT Leader for Application, the Manager of Logistics and Supply chain is responsible for the overall Logistics and Supply Chain system (management, design, installation, operation, and maintenance) supporting fast-growing business. The manager will oversee all activities that include collecting requirements from the business partners, designing the solution and working with the technical leader and technical team to deliver the solution.

This role will also work very closely with PMO and Change management team and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business leaders to clarify business needs, priorities, and strategies
• Work directly with business partners to understand their Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and related processes, capabilities, and systems
• Facilitate gathering and documenting project and user requirements based on client meetings for system solution development
• Functionally design, technically configure, integrate, and install Supply Chain & Sourcing solutions for our business partners
• Manage all Supply chain & Sourcing systems
• Lead functional and technical discussions with the business partners including the integration of WMS to ERP and other IT systems
• Troubleshoot system problems, discover root causes and develop solutions
• Engage with business leaders to clarify business needs, priorities, and strategies
• Responsible for WMS configurations and enhancements for new and existing initiatives within assigned distribution centers
• Responsible for solution design
• Provide guidelines around milestone dates and deliverables required for integration testing
• Innovate on leading-edge technology such as Manhattan Active WM, Red Prairie, Distribution IOT and Robotics, and AI/ML technologies
• Collaborate to plan regression testing and scheduling to minimize impact to overall delivery timelines; Ensure appropriate documentation of all issues and their resolutions
• Collaborate with other Project Team members to ensure that the system is thoroughly tested including the end to end business process functionality, interfaces, external systems, conversions, connectivity, and security (user and system levels)
• Act as an escalation point for technical troubleshooting and systems modification, also being a key contact point and liaison to the WMS vendor

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience working in a Retail organization and 5+ years of experience in the supply chain and sourcing business process
• 5+ years of experience with warehouse management technology solutions and/or implementation
• Experience with 1-3 full lifecycle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) implementations in a complex environment
• 5+ years of experience conducting the following activities: business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design process, system testing, and solution delivery, UAT customer support, process document creations and review, working with an onsite and offshore delivery model
• 5+ years of warehouse functional knowledge in: Receiving, Shipping, Order Management, Inventory Management, Labor Standards, and Fulfillment
• Experience using analytics and metrics to assess warehouse processes and operational performance to identify and quantify improvement opportunities
• A Bachelor's Degree
• Outstanding critical thinking, analytics, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
• Experience working with cross-functional / extended teams
