Position Summary...

What you'll do...

  • Define the vision and strategies using domain expertise and internal and external best practices. Identify market opportunities and build business cases.
  • Align with the overall strategy and vision for Walmart supply chain that brings together in-store and online experiences to save customers money and time.
  • Articulate product problems and socialize the proposed solutions to relevant stakeholders and colleagues. Seek out, research, and evaluate areas of opportunity.
  • Deliver value by developing and enhancing products. Manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategies, and manage risks.
  • Own the entire product lifecycle including discovery, analysis, testing, goal definition, building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), user story creation, sprint execution, product launches, and iterations. Iterate and improve products based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Business Leadership, Marketing Teams, Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers, and Data Scientists across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the products and initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness with participating stakeholders.
  • This position does not supervise employees.


Skills required:
  • Experience determining the product vision and aligning the product strategy with key stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying problems, translating them into product features, and prioritizing them and building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using design thinking methodologies. Experience starting Software as a Service (SaaS) in agile environments.
  • Experience adapting to changing business requirements, working with stakeholders to identify solutions, articulating tradeoffs, and providing metrics-based recommendations.
  • Experience identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), developing telemetries, and communicating them to stakeholders.
  • Experience building product analytics based on artificial intelligence.
  • Experience building web-based applications and conducting A/B tests on the applications.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and providing support and direction to engineering, design, and product teams.
  • Experience working on projects with large scale impact.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data structures.
