Position Summary

This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will be a key member of the corporate FP&A team. The incumbent will have corporate department planning responsibilities, as well as a role in the company's overall forecasting and reporting processes.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Partner with corporate department heads for financial planning and month-end analysis
  • Lead the roll-up of all corporate department forecasts, and provide reporting to senior management
  • Assist with global Teleflex forecasting, planning and reporting processes
  • Manage subordinate team member(s) to deliver on team goals and responsibilities
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve existing processes
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures including SOX controls and other internal controls
  • Work with all key stakeholders to update, recommend and develop practices for more consistent and efficient processes
  • Assist in preparation of data for, and review with, external and internal auditors
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance; or other, with relevant work experience supporting corporate finance preferred
  • Understanding of forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Working knowledge of GAAP preferred
  • Experience with Oracle EPM solutions; Essbase or Hyperion Planning a plus
  • Experience with SAP
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and resolve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
  • Ability to manage and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized and detail oriented with strong analytic, problem-solving skills and user troubleshooting skills
  • Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues
