Position Overview

Our Center of Excellence team is currently seeking a Manager to be responsible for managing the workflow for multi-client deliverables and thought leadership requests. This includes managing the pipeline of requests that require creative interpretation, a macro perspective, and combining data from multiple industries and sources. The Manager will be engaging on some aspects of data analysis and some aspects of client support including but not limited to: running reports, interpreting data, deriving and presenting insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously manage a queue of project requests, recurring reporting, overlapping deadlines, and shifting project scopes. Ensuring all requests are delivered on-time and accurately.
  • Efficiently export data, analyze the results, and deliver insights that bring the data to life, and demonstrate the value in NPD data.
  • Present findings to a senior audience in internal touch-bases and collaborative meetings. Joining client calls where appropriate to aid in the presentation of data findings and macro concepts.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of retail trends, NPD datasets, capabilities, limitations, and how they work together.
  • Using that understanding of NPD data, listen for client questions that could lead to upselling additional data subscriptions.
  • Demonstrate confidence to suggest changing the approach for a project if it will result in efficiencies, improved accuracy, or more meaningful insights.
  • Manage 1-2 analysts within the Center of Excellence.
  • Ability to take responsibility for personal development by seeking training, on-the-job experiences and input from director.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in market research or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable managing expectations of multiple clients and client teams. Able to negotiate to achieve desired goals.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, or other business analytic related fields.
