What You Will Do

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Maintenance Tech, where you'll be the linchpin of technical support for high-tech equipment and critical facilities. Leveraging your deep understanding of maintenance processes and equipment, you'll spearhead vital repairs, mentorship programs, and training initiatives for junior technicians. From directing maintenance tasks to leading major improvement projects, you'll demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills and project management prowess. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and facilitate major improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify problems, conduct thorough analysis, and guide projects through implementation, ensuring structured project management protocols.
  • Diagnose and repair functionality issues in high-tech and high-impact equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Implement solutions to mitigate failure modes and optimize equipment performance.
  • Provide hands-on support, coaching, and mentoring to Maintenance Tech 1, 2, and 3, ensuring exceptional customer support.
  • Evaluate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of junior maintenance technicians to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate on designing training processes to cultivate talent and standardize maintenance activities.
  • Develop manuals, training materials, and certifications to streamline maintenance procedures.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the maintenance manager, contributing to the overall success of the team.
What You Will Bring

  • Train on day shift for 2-3 weeks initially
  • Maintain consistent shift schedule
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; Certificate/Degree/Trade school preferred
  • Accountable, self-motivated individual with strong work ethic
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated punctuality
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment in manufacturing/production settings, including:
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • Punch press
  • Assembly line
  • Plating lines
  • Molding machines (Arburg molding machine experience preferred)
  • Copper stamping
  • Stainless steel stamping
  • Experience with PLC programming is advantageous
