Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$13.99-$22.39

Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining CSG's Quality standards. Accurately processing all jobs within the designated SLA time. Monitors production activities and evaluates impact of variations from schedule. This person is also responsible for sorting, and shipping select labels, metered postage, and all outgoing parcels from the production facility. The Mail Clerk Senior is responsible for generating and verifying daily and monthly mailed statement reports. This person is also responsible for adding and managing the metered postage account.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Manage workload to meet contractual SLA's and CSG's Quality guidelines
  • Weighing, counting metering all overweight, international, oversized, certified, priority, and CSG related mail to ensure contractual standards are maintained
  • Managing special handling processes from CDMs
  • Managing UPS, FEDex, and Indicia customer address information on the, shipping system
  • Manage reprint damages to ensure damages have been reproduced and mailed
  • Reconcile any postal discrepancies
  • Job tracking emails from cross-functioning teams within the organization
  • Ensure all policies and procedures (special instructions) are being followed and alert Team Captain
  • Manages daily production assignments and address production and shipping issues in a timely manner
  • Take a lead role in the success of the department, i.e. advise on new processes, operational enhancements, and/or improvements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience

  • 1- 2 years experience in production or warehouse is preferred
  • Assist Team Captains with daily and month-end reporting
  • Maintain highest standards of quality by being error-free on all work
  • Ensure all SLA's are met by double checking storyboards, emails and Jobs in Progress Reports throughout the shift
  • Look at all processes and area set-up and provide feedback on how to better organize area to improve work flow and improve on processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 1-2 years of operational and shipping knowledge of UPS and FedEx systems.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of postal rates and requirements
  • Willingness to volunteer for overtime as needed
  • Ability to occasionally reach, lift, and carry boxed materials and paper webs weighing between 25 to 45 lbs. over an approximate range of ankle to shoulder high
  • Occasional push and pull with forces upwards of 57lbs necessary to maneuver loaded carts and pallet jacks
  • Frequent use of both hands to grasp boxes and webs, open boxes, grasp inserts and envelopes, and complete paperwork
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed
  • Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment
