What you'll do:

Operates laminator machine to adhere the backing to the carpet pad before getting cut at the proper length for packaging. Records amount of material moving through the assigned area. Monitors roll for quality defects such as thickness, density, and weight to ensure high quality products are delivered to customers. Ensures work area and equipment are clean and operational, gaining assistance from the Supervisor as necessary to resolve any issues that may impact production. Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Performs other duties as required.

What you have:

• Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions.

• Should be able to stand for extended periods of time.

• Should be able to lift 80 lbs. several times a shift.

• Vision must be correctable to 20/40.

• May be required to climb on and off a lift truck numerous times a shift and must be able to operate lift truck controls.

• Working environment includes hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by moving mechanical parts and noise.
