Location: REMOTE
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Linux DevOps Engineer
General Skills:
Advanced technical skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Self-directed and strong learning capabilities
DevOps Skillset:
DevOps engineer with a strong developer background
Capable of creating very complex automations and pipeline (not to maintain operations)
Strong coding and architecture skills
Resource Request:
- Strong Java ecosystem knowledge
- Capable to automate on top of multiple Java applications servers (Tomcat, jboss, Weblogic)
- Assist with preparing zero downtime releases with HA or blue/green deployments on those ecosystem
- Good Jenkins knowledge and potentially Azure (Ansible is a plus)
- Experience with Kubernetes

Job Duties:
- Work with software engineering teams to adopt standardized processes for deployments
- Identify CICD pipelines that need improved automation
