Beacon Hill is partnering with one of their clients for this remote Life Insurance opportunity. The selected individual will have working knowledge of Individual Life insurance products, familiarity with the Life administrative and image file systems, exposure to Salesforce, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and familiarity with procedures and workflows, are of benefit to this position.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide accurate and timely policy-level information in support of death and disability claims.
• Provide effective management of work volumes to maintain a timely response threshold. Meet or exceed business partner service expectations.
• Complete the work associated with the Claims Create and Claims Brief process:
  • Manage: Effectively manage the intake and create processes to ensure that initial review, status changes and addressing any pending activity (including policy anniversary and EFT plans), occurs within the established turn-around time.
  • Communicate: Ensure timely notification of policy and plan administration.
  • Process: Conduct policy review, payment status summary, and manual claim calculations; populating the claims brief with quality results for review, within the established turn-around time.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and examiners.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively work with various data files to ensure accuracy of data.
• Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
