FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Lead Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing all product testing procedures and working with all parties to bring these products to market.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops all product and component test and validation plans.
  • Coordinates and oversees all product testing and validation.
  • Generates test reports.
  • Works with engineering, product management, sales, and customers to understand product expectations.
  • Responsible for the development and documentation of all related policies and procedures.
  • Research, design and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment required for product testing.
  • Technical resources to product development team.
  • Perform site visits, customer visits, and product testing.
  • Establish project goals and priorities by collaborating with Engineering, Product Management and Sales.
  • Responsible for all projects costs
  • Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals.
  • Support Director to hire and develop R&D personnel.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Ability to communicate well with others.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ Years Experience in Product Design, Testing and/or Support
  • 5+ Years Hydraulic System Experience
  • 5+ Years Electrical System Experience
  • Hands-On Experience Operating Forestry/Construction Equipment (or similar)

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
  • Ability to Travel up to 10% of the time.
