Position Title: Lead Software Engineer

Location: Santa Monica, CA preferred, but open to remote candidates

Rate: $70-80 USD/hr

Beacon Hill Technologies is supporting one of the largest media and entertainment companies in finding a lead software engineer to support the ad infrastructure team behind streaming service ads.

Job Summary:

• You'll write automation tools to support developers deploying and running cloud infrastructure.
• You will implement and execute best practices and security standards for operating in the cloud.
• You will contribute to a library of shared terraform modules.
• Work with infrastructure tooling and be a good resource for forming cloud infrastructure as code.
• Provide support to dev teams for our tooling and platform.
• Work will consist of 75% DevOps, 25% Development

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Javascript/Typescript
5+ years of experience with Python or Go
5+ years of experience with AWS
5+ years of experience with Terraform
5+ years of experience with deployment pipelines such as Spinnaker/Gitlab/CircleCi

Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certifications
Experience with Unix/Linux systems
Experience with Airflow
Experience with Istio

Required Education:
Bachelors in Computer Science or similar field
