The engineer will join a team of process engineers designing and modifying facilities which produce chemicals, biochemicals, biofuels and related industrial products.

This position will be based in the Atlanta, Georgia or Greenville, South Carolina areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Will understand the project delivery process and help define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
  • Act as process lead on project teams and manage the process engineers and ensure the completion of the process deliverables
  • Lead the development of PFD's, P&ID's, Mass and Energy Balances, Equipment Lists and Specifications, generate instrument process data, etc.
  • Interact with clients in technical meetings, site visits and business development meetings
  • Provide guidance and relevant technical information to mechanical, electrical, structural, estimating and process control disciplines
  • Provide engineering expertise to optimize process systems and implement cost reduction opportunities
  • Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years experience (Professional registration is a plus)
  • Experience with Capital Projects in the Chemical Process Industries a plus
  • A willingness to travel as needed
