Job Summary
The Lead Advanced Practitioner for the Emergency Department is part of the management team and is responsible for the overall leadership and supervision of the Advanced Practitioners (AP's) in the Department. Duties include recruitment, orientation and training of newly hired Advanced Practitioners, monitoring and evaluating AP's in conjunction with the Supervising Physicians, participation in quality activities and conflict resolution and working with the Management Team to develop operational policies and procedures. The Lead Advanced Practitioner also provides direct patient care as part of the Advanced Practitioner Team.
