This position of Field Mechanic I is integral to the overall Water Resources maintenance strategy. The purpose of the position is to carry the maintenance program into the field and to provide a prompt response to equipment failures and breakdowns.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Technical school preferred.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel and hydraulic equipment maintenance and repair
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to drive service truck to equipment locations.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours.
