Lab Manager Direct-hire opportunity for a Lab Manager with BSL-2 Laboratory experience who is excited to join a growing, well-funded start-up developing antibody-based therapeutics using novel technologies and strategies. This is a newly-created position due to company growth!

Location: South San Francisco - Onsite
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Regular Business Hours

What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for the management of our four small BSL-2 labs. Beyond your regular duties, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the end-to-end biologics drug development process, finance operations, and facilities oversight in our small, ~40-person company. *With this experience, the potential for career growth is tremendous! *

Responsibilities:
- Laboratory inventory
- Daily lab monitoring (e.g., refrigerators/freezers and LN2/CO2 levels)
- Liaise with lab vendors (e.g., supply, equipment maintenance, service visits)
- Schedule maintenance checks
- Manage lab safety inspections
- Oversee personnel training
- Enforce lab safety policies
- Maintain safe biohazardous waste disposal practices
- Assist with formulating buffers and media prep in downtime
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's and/ or Master's degree in relevant field
- Preference for 3+ years' experience in a BSL-2 lab setting (academic or industry)
- Exposure to laboratory inventory management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative industry setting
